About me

Hi, I’m Jasmine — the owner of Snouts & Abouts.

I’m a Level 3 Qualified Dog Walker and Pet Sitter, offering enrichment-focused dog walking on the Isle of Wight. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love what I do.

I started Snouts & Abouts because I’ve always believed dogs deserve more than just a quick walk around the block. Every dog is different — some are full of energy and thrive on adventure, while others need reassurance, patience and time to build confidence.

I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine and comfort level so I can tailor walks that truly suit them. My focus is on calm, structured walks that support both mental stimulation and physical wellbeing.

I treat every dog as if they were my own, and my goal is simple — to help them feel safe, fulfilled and understood while in my care.

Calm walks • Curious minds • Happy Island dogs

Safety Comes First

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities on every walk.

Before each outing, dogs are fitted with safety ID tags stating “With My Dog Walker” along with my contact details. This ensures they are clearly identifiable as being under professional care at all times.

I am fully insured, DBS checked and canine first aid trained. Routes are carefully selected, and walks are structured to suit each dog’s confidence level and environment.

By prioritising safety, structure and enrichment, I aim to give owners complete peace of mind from start to finish.

Canine First Aid Trained

Your dog’s safety is always my priority, which is why I am fully trained in canine first aid.

I carry a pet first aid kit on every walk, allowing me to respond quickly and calmly to minor injuries or unexpected situations while out and about.

From small cuts and grazes to recognising signs of distress, I’m prepared to act confidently and appropriately to keep your dog safe and comfortable at all times.

Awards

Being named a finalist in the UK Small Business Awards 2026 for Best Pet Business is something I’m incredibly proud of.

I started this with a genuine love for dogs and a real passion for giving them the best care possible, so to be recognised like this means a lot. It reflects the time, effort, and care I put into every single walk, visit, and relationship I build with both dogs and their owners.

I’m so grateful for the trust my clients place in me every day.

Certificates

I’m fully qualified in pet sitting, dog walking, and canine first aid, which means your dog’s safety and wellbeing is always my top priority.

Having these qualifications gives me the knowledge and confidence to handle a range of situations calmly and responsibly.

I also believe there’s always more to learn, so I’m committed to continuing to grow my skills and experience to make sure I’m offering the highest standard of care at all times.
